Earlier in the summer I got a new DVD with two new videos showing life at Miri Piri Academy in Amritsar India. After having gone through boarding school myself in India, it’s always cool to see how things are for the kids that are now going to school at MPA. Things were much different back when I was there during the 80’s! When Narayan is ready I plan to send him to MPA as well….so I like to keep up with how things are going at the school.
Here is one of the videos which shows a day at Miri Piri Academy (Ps. Registration for the school is open to all, so if you are a kid, or are a parent you should consider the school. It’s an awesome balance of MIRI and PIRI. Spiritual and worldy – Mind, body and spirit.
You can also check out the second video “MPA Student Life”

Sat Nam,
Beautiful video, i´m going to post it in comunidadkundalini.blogspot.com
Sat Nam,
Rai Singh.
Brilliant!! I wish I could afford to send my kids there. I would even be prepared to stay and do seva. It is such a fantastic learning. All round learning.
I wish I went there.. too bad its the last year of school for me here in N.America !
I have a question though, looking at the time table alot of time is spent doing many things..but when it is compared to my highschool experience here many students needed more than just 1 hour a day to do homework or assignments!! How do they manage/cope or is the curriculum not as intense?
May i know who founded this academy
Siri Singh Sahib Harbhajan Singh Khalsa Yogi Ji
Harsimran Kaur
Sat Nam, it was Yogi Bhajan who founded this academy. And wow, I’m so inspired by it! We shall visit you guys in MPA when the time is right =)!
Jug Jug Jeeo ….Guru Key LaaL Guru Mastak Singh. This is an amazing video… background music is so good i have enjoyed this video so so much.I know this place is wonderland…. where humanity is nourished, where spiritual aura is so strong that you can feel Guru’s presence every where.I am so proud to be there for 4 years.Being parents i strongly recommend that there is no other place better than MPA where children are not only taught the worldly values but they are also equipped with moral and spiritual values. These Khalsa Singhs and Kaurs do not only look divine but they do practice it in their daily lives too. They are physically strong, emotionally balanced and spiritually uplifted. When they sing Gurubani one can feel that Guru Ramdas resides on their Rasnaa. They look majestic in every kind of uniform….Bana, sports, gidda Bhangra or yoga.May they prosper more and more day by day.I love you all and miss u all………….Siri Dharma,Guru Amrit, Hari Mittar,Siri Krishna,Har Gobind,Raj Pal…………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………..With Love
