Chardikala!

Here is an inspiring talk by SSS Harbhajan Singh Khalsa on the topic of "Chardikala" and your relationship with the Siri Guru Granth Sahib. It’s only about 28 min long so definitely have a listen! :)

You know, maybe there’s something wrong with me, but every time I try to listen to a lecture from Yogi Bhajan I find that I can only follow it so far. Like I think I understand the point of it, then I get totally lost. Did he speak off the cuff? I’m wondering if any have been transcribed, not necessarily this particular one, but others like it. I think that maybe I would understand more in print.

  2. Leah, these lectures are not the short and single point ones like the videos that I post of Guruka Singh. The lectures are generally 60 minutes long and Siri Singh Sahib tends to talk about lots of different things in one lecture, so it is a lot of information to digest. Even I sometimes think afterwards…”what did I learn?” and it can be hard to summarize it. I think for me I feel like I “digest” it more subtly and it also inspires me. So, I don’t need to consciously relate to everything and it just gets absorbed into me….if you can relate to that.

My suggestion is to listen to the lectures a few times. I find that I miss a lot of things the first time and then after 2-3 times It really sinks in.
