Bhangra Workout With Ravi
Ravi Kaur, who is one of my long time friends, just came out with new DVD which will teach you how to do the desi Bhangra moves and get a great physical work out at the same time! Many of you might know a bit of Bhangra, and some might be "experts". Either way I’m sure you’ll enjoy this video!

"I’ve loved Bhangra most of my life and though I was born in America, I went to middle and high school in India where I was introduced to Bhangra. The love affair began and I’ve been dancing Bhangra ever since. Over the last 12 years I’ve traveled the world teaching performing and spreading my love of Bhangra to all I meet. I’ve worked with Izzat da Punjab, a Bhangra dance troupe, since 1998 that has been performing throughout the United States. The troupe consists of women and men from all over the world who now live and work in New Mexico."

I have a request before you, could you please post today’s yogi’s lecture which was played at the Guru Ram Das ji ashram today. Luckly, I did listened over the internet, it really woke my soul to different level. His scolding really woke my mind and has lifted me to a different level of consciousness. Trust me, his lecture woke my soul in a different way.
Its amazing that his how he awakes us from sleep!!!!!!!!
please post that lecture, you shall be saving lot of souls from self destruction by ego and sleeping……….

Hahaha… no Ravi KAUR is DEFINITELY different than “Ravi SINGH” who made this video. The picture at the top of this blog post on the cover is Ravi Kaur.
The “Ravi Singh” who I think made this video seems to be getting “out there” a bit with making videos like this. He has a Sikh name but I don’t think he is a Sikh.
The video has nothing to do with Kundalini Yoga. It seems like he is taking the sacred tradition of Kundalini Yoga and making it into his own thing, which is wrong. This video just seems to try to be “sexy” and appeal to mainstream. There are always the renegade types that break the rules and do what they want to without regard to tradition.

I have been looking out for a bhangra troupe who could perform for a pre-wedding function i.e. the sangeet in Dubai, U.A.E. on December 9th.
Are you based in States?Â
How many members of the troupe perform the dance? & What would be your fees?

DIFFERENT but interesting I’ve always looked at bhangra as what you see on music channels aka Britasia. I won’t go into detail but this is so different that I want to buy it!
