First Ever Japji Sahib Course in Southeast Asia (Singapore)

posted by Ek Ong Kaar Kaur Khalsa

Wahe Guru Ji Ka Khalsa, Wahe Guru Ji Ki Fateh.

The Sikh Centre in Singapore has extended a tremendously kind invitation for me to each a course on Japji Sahib during Guru Nanak’s birthday weekend.

The dates and times for the classes are:

Friday, 3 Nov 2006 (7:30pm to 9:30pm)

Saturday, 4 Nov 2006 (10:30am to 4:00pm)

Sunday, 5 Nov 2006 (10:30am to 4:00pm)

In special honor/celebration of Guru Nanak’s birthday – the Sikh Centre is providing this course either FREE OF CHARGE or at a reasonable rate. Which means that all YOU need to do is get yourself to Singapore, show up for the class, and we’ll meditate on the Guru’s words.

Are there any courses planned for the US?

  2. Sat Nam, Sunny.

There is a course being planned for Crestone, Colorado in the spring. As soon as those dates are finalized, will post them on the blog. Many blessings to you and thanks for asking.

I am very happy you are coming to Singapore, can’t wait to see you/hear you. I saw a small video clip of you presenting the Japji course early this year on Gurmustuk’s blog and have been wishing to sit in at your course. Thank you for coming to Singapore………….

  5. SSA,

So looking forward to being there.

Gurkirpal – a course is really just a time to go into the bani deeply. To talk about it, try to understand it, and then use yoga, meditation and chanting to ground us in the experience of what Guru Nanak is talking about. Hope this is helpful. Kindly let me know if you need anymore information.
