SikhNet Youth Online Film Festival – Aug 31st Deadline

Ok….so many of you have expressed interest in making a video for the Online Youth Film Festival, but in case you didn’t realize it the deadline is coming up soon (Aug 31st). So make your video and submit it to SikhNet Yaar! Surprisingly, we haven’t gotten that many submissions, so if you want to look at this in a positive way, your chances of winning one or more of the three cash prizes ($100/$500/$250 US Dollars) is pretty good. So what are you waiting for???

SikhNet Youth Film Festival – Aug. 31st Deadline

The whole purpose of this event is to encourage youth to use their creativity and learn something new using media. We don’t expect professional videos, so just get a camera and make it happen! There is still time to make a video if you get motivated and "Just do it!". 

Do I have to get down on my knees and say "Pretty Please"? Hahaha… that probably wouldn’t make any difference though. Ask yourself what is stopping YOU from doing a video? Get a friend or two and do it together! I’m happy to help however I can. No excuses lah. Successfull people are the ones who have confidence in themself and are not lazy.

Videos for the festival will be featured on SikhNet.com and viewed by thousands of people. Not ready for fame and fortune? No matters… it’s all good fun and learning.

Last time posted messages about sending a video quite a few people said they were sending a video, so…you know who you are. Hahaha… I’m waiting to see your video…and if it is one of the best three…then sending you come cool cash.

   I think if you didnt offer cash prizes more people would have got involved. Maybe giving gurmat related prizes not maya related.

   Just relax. Why do you guys have to be so negative all the time? He is doing something positive yet all you can do is look at his negatives.

   And who says that the maya that they are being given cant be used for good purposes? Get a clue!
