Those of you who get tired of seeing baby pictures, you might want to take a vacation from my blog for a little while. Now that I have a new baby girl my focus has changed just a "wee" a bit. :)
When you have a child your life totally changes to revolve around the child. People can tell you all kinds of things of what to expect, but you never really know till you experience it for yourself. It is such a gift to give birth and have children, and a jewel of a learning experience. I have to say that it is one of the most challenging things I have faced in my life, but it is these challenges which make me grow and teach me so much. It’s like the coal that gets compressed and shaped into a diamond. Without the pressure it’s just a lump of coal.
The first night under my belt, still a bit exhausted from lack of sleep, but I’m sure I’ll squeeze in more naps in the coming days. Our daughter is so beautiful. Babies are so small and fragile when they are first born. It’s amazing seeing their small hands and feet. It is a nice change having some relaxed feminine energy. Narayan is like a lion which is awesome, but it’s nice experiening the other side of the spectrum. You can see some of the pictures with Narayan and the baby. He loves to be with her and I know he will be a great big brother/protector.
Well, best get some rest. You never know what to expect (meaning: how much sleep I’ll get).
