Sant Siphai – The Warrior Saints

During our many years in India we used to do learn a lot of Gatka and martial arts. Here is a group of some of the kids in Anandpur Sahib from the early 80s.

I think there should a get “Old Students” togather….a club or association… and meet may be once a year. Hope there is a latest photo of this group.

  2. I am very happy looking at these old photos. Very chardikala. Bhaji please keep posting. Its very inspirational.

May Guru Ji continue to bless you and your family.

  3. Everytime I see a pic like this I am in awe. Very cool stuff. WOW {I dont see too much of this kind of stuff} People who live in Ashrams are so lucky to be surounded by all those GurSikhs. When I see even one its like finding a nugget of gold while panning for gold.

Wow, that is an old picture. I am in that and probably age 12 or 13 (orange Damala on the right). Today I am 34.

  5. Sarib, I think some of the pictures were from 1981-82. I didn’t go to India till ’83.

Hi, I went to GNFCS from 83-86. I think I recognise a couple of people in the picture. Nirankar Singh Khalsa and Prabhjot Singh Khalsa. They used to be in the same year as me in Ranjit House. Brings back a few memories.

I live and work back in the UK now.
