Our Group Prayer

Last Friday we finished our “Conscious Communication” workshop which we have been doing for a few months. During the last session some of the topics were on “prayer”, how to pray, what it is, it’s effect, etc. One of our last tasks was for each of us to write a very short prayer (11 words or less). We then wrote them all up on a board and put them together as one.

So, here is the “Group prayer” that is a compilation of all our prayers:

May I always remember You with every breath;
God, bless me to always serve life to my highest ability;
Flow through me so that I can share Your Light with others;
May I be open and sincere to get purpose and meaning;
May all hearts open and compassion be manifest on earth;
Mercy for family, friends, peers, enemies, world and self to find guidance and protection;
May all who interact with you radiate the Love and Light of God;
May the consciousness of humanity rise so that Peace and Happiness be on earth;
May the Grace and Light of the Universe guide all;
May the Abundance of the Universe be reflected in every detail;
I need you my Lord, I have you. Thank you. Wahe Guru, Wahe Guru, Wahe Guru. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you.
Guru Ram Das, please create all the circumstances that support my Destiny;
Let me be YOURS and YOU be mine.

May the long time sun shine upon you, all love surround you. And the pure light within you, guide your way on.

   Sat nam!

   How beautiful this prayer is. Can you imagine if every person on earth made one little prayer sentence every evening before going to bed…
   It would be so powerful!
