i’m going to play this clip for my teeny tiny everyday. (we don’t let her watch tv so she loves it when i let her watch anything …like the 3ho bbc2 story).
thank you again gurumustak! i know this must take so much of your time and then some.
Our so-called ragis should dig their heads in the mud with shame. Look at these fellows, how the purity and devotion reflects from their singing. I’m impressed and please convey my deep appreciation to them. Thanks for sharing the clips and pictures, it’s like visiting Espanola every day.
The Chardikala Jatha (Harimandir jot Singh, Sadasat Simran Singh, and Jugat Guru Singh) have been living in India all their lives. Jugat Guru was a classmate of mine and the others went to school for many years in Punjab.

Rather silly of Anonymous to tar all ragis with the same brush. Only thing I can think of is that you have not had the opportunity to hear some of the great ragis we are lucky to have.
Meharvaan Sahib Mera Meharvaan
has been done so beautifully. Surinder Singh Paonta Sahib wale has done this shabad so beautifully I call it my tension buster shabad. Chardi Kala jatha’s rendition of this shabad is also very uplifting. Also my heart just swells with pride to hear such a beautiful composition in praise of the almighty.
