My cousin Ananda. We have a multi-religious family. She is Hari Krishna faith, we are Sikh, we have jewish family, Christian family, and I’m sure there are some others that I have missed.
What is wrong with her following her religious way of life? You don’t have to be a Sikh to reach God. The tree of life has many branches and paths to the root (God). We should be accepting of others and their choice for their spiritual path. We should NOT think we or our lifestlye is better.
The reason why sikhism hasnt spread is because we believe in allowing everyone to practice their own religion, a sikh’s job isn’t to break someone else from their religion but instead to follow sikhism to the best of his/her ability

Tolerance of other religions is just one of the many beautiful aspects of Sikhism. I recently came across a very heart rendering story of a group of Sikhs in a Panjab village who donated and helped rebuild a mosque for the muslims in the village.
We should not look down on any individual simply beacuse he or she happens to believe in faith other then Sikhi.
Being born a Sikh is not alone to being a good or bad sikh. It is however a good start to try and live life as close to the principles of Sikhism as possible.
Lets not forget that there are good and bad people regardless of their colour , creed or faith. But lets leave the judgement to our creator and instead use the time and energy to live a good and honest life.

By sikhism hasn’t spread I meant spread more, because sikhism has obviously made it over to the U.S. and most other nations.
