Sodarshan Chakra Kriya Meditation

Here is a meditation described in Siri Guru Granth Sahib on page 1106 by Bhagat Jai Dev ji that was taught by SSS Harbhajan Singh Khalsa Yogi ji on August 1991. I just realized that only two shabads are in Siri Guru Granth Sahib by Bhagat Jai Dev and one of these two was him sharing his experience of this meditation.

This is one of those meditations that can create a lot of change in you if you practice is every day consistently.

I have been pretty stressed out lately and started to practice it every morning and it really makes a difference. After finishing the meditation I feel so much more clear and centered.

This meditation is not really a "beginners" meditation and does take some practice, but anyone can do it. This is a powerful meditation and should not be changed or altered. It’s very important to make sure you are doing this kriya correctly, so review all the details below.

Charanjeet Kaur Talking

Last night I was writing about Charanjeet talking and saying different things and this morning she was at it again talking away. I sometimes try to record her with a video camera….but as soon as she sees the camera she wants it, and starts saying "Baby" because she likes to look at the pictures on the camera or the video. So this time I got Narayan’s new little mp3 player which records audio and just walked around with her for about 20 minutes this morning. Here are two edited clips. Maybe I’m the only one that thinks they are cute because she is my daughter….but then again this blog is sort of a family journal and it will be interesting to look over the years of my family recorded on the internet. By the way…She just turned 18 months old.

Wahe Guru and  Nitnem
In the morning when we do banis she always wants a nitnem. Here is one of the "Nitnem" encounters along with her cute "wah-hey-goodoo".

Angsung Wahe Guru

Yesterday in Gurdwara Ek Ong Kaar Kaur sang beautifully from her heart to the few of us that were there at the start. I always love to get to Gurdwara first thing because so that I can listen to all the kirtan, and that is when it is the most quiet and easy to meditate. Some of you might remember Ek Ong Kaar Kaur who is a guest blogger on MrSikhNet.com and always writes very interesting and thought provoking things. You can check out her blog and listen to her beautiful voice sing "Ang Sung Wahe Guru"  (God is  in every  limb/part of my body)
