no scotland again…. sigh…. we are part of uk toooooo!!
Can we hear some recordings of the Jatha on your blog?
Gurumustuk Singh Ji,
Tonight myself and the family had the pleasure of listening and connecting with the kirtan of your mataji and her jatha. This was especially poignant as we were reading your blog this afternoon about the role of your mother to you and your kids ‘ Her love for the Guru I think made a deep impression on me very early on; probably even before I was born. I think these are the types of things that a child absorbs like osmosis,’ as this evening was the first time we had taken our 5 week old (gursimran kaur) to our local gurdwara in Leeds.
Reading your blog today we really connected with your thoughts in that the power of the vibration name exists through pregnancy and during birth and continues therefore. We had the blessing of having simran playing during our delivery, and once we have received the letter ‘G’ from the hukamnama we wanted a name that would continue to focus on the remembrance of the name - hence ‘gursimran’.
So tonight gursimran also connected with your mataji’s vibration and she was in peace throughout the kirtan. We then also had the pleasure of introducing her to your mum and she talked about how the vibration through singing of the mother and grandmother is such a powerful thing. Your mataji suggested that I send you through a photo of gursimran for her to remember, but I am not sure how to upload this to you so just let me know . And on a final note, please let your mataji know that she is more than welcome to come and sing to gurimran anytime!!!!!
Inderjit, Arvinder and Gursimran.
Me and my sister Harry went to ABKJ at Shepherds Bush Gurdwara in london first we got lost and had to get a cab to the gurdwara it was not funny because we missed half an hour of the kirtan. The Kirtan was beautiful it touched my soul and on the train back home I was at peace for a while until life kicks back in.
