Are any of you good with writing stylized Punjabi/Gurmukhi? We would like to make a "regal" Gurmukhi font that is prettier than the standard GurbaniLipi. In order to do so we could use some help from someone that can do calligraphy and write out each of the letters of the Punjabi Alphabet in this way. If you are able and interested in helping out let me know.

Great idea! A little while ago I came across an old Punjabi textbook from the beginning of the previous century or so.. it was printed in a really lovely Gurmukhi font, the letters had slightly different shapes from what is used in fonts nowadays. It wasn’t especially regal though, but more elegant than the usual fonts anyway. It would be really wonderful if there were more different Gurmukhi fonts to choose from, because all that are available now look pretty much the same. I so hope that you’ll find some calligraphy expert :)
Waheguru ji ka Khalsa Waheguru ji ki Fateh!
Just after the independence of India I tried my best to make a change in the grammar of Punjabi language which is nothing better than crap and even raised a voice to create Capital and minuscle Gurmukhi alphabets; the conclusion was that I was considered a traitor and even my parents suppressed my intuitions. People in Punjab think that whatever Guru Ji´s pen has established is the best and inalterable.
I hope Bhai Sahib Yogi Bhajan could have done some thing in this direction but he had other affairs at priority.
Please tell me which font is this. I need to do something creative with this font for somebody.
I would really appreciate it if you can revert back as soon as possible.
Thanks and warm regards
