   being a follower of sikhism
   i am very happy to see the guru gaddhi day in espanola

   but there is one thing that bothers me
   why are women in the panj piyara’s
   in the second photo
   i am not woman biased
   but this is not according to maryada which our guru has told us…
   we are changing wat guru has told us
   women cannot be in the panj piyara’s

   Dear Avijit singh ji,
   where has Guru Ordered that women can not be in panj pyaras.Please quote any rehatnama.
   Men and women are equal in eyes of Guru.All khalsa can become Panj pyaras and Khalsa has no gender. A women who has lived according to Rehat of Guru, does Nitnem, keeps five kakars, in whose heart shabad of Guru Reverbrates is Khalsa and hence qualifies to be Panj pyara.
   Remember what 10 th Guru Said-

   “‘KHALSA MERO ROOP HAI KHAS
   KHALSEY MEIN MOH KARON NIWAS”

   WAHEGURU JI KA KHALSA WAHEGURU JI KI FATEH

   if there is not rehetnama for not allowing woman in panj piyara than i must tell u that there is no rehetnama for allowing woman too

   please dont change guru’s tradition just because u feel so
