Anandpur Sahib - 1999

This was from Baisakhi in Anandpur Sahib, during the 300th Anniversary celebrations. Many of our Sangat went there on a Yatra. You can see all the white turbans in the sea of Sikhs on the street. There were SO MANY people there.

    Dear Gurumustuk Singh Khalsa;

    Im wondering if there is a particular reason why many american Sikhs dress in white. Is there a reason? I love it. But im curious as to whether there is a meaning behind it?

    i think western sikhs dress all in white due to th fact that white is a color that is seen as pure and also that it draws in better energy to the bodies energy centres..i guess white kinda acts like a halo type thing and makes u look and feel mentally radiant…hope that makes sense :p
