On Saturday early in the morning me and Narayan (along with lots of friends) went to the Balloon Fiesta which happens every year here in Albuquerque, New Mexico. We had to get up around 4am to get there in time for the "Dawn Patrol" where they fireup the Hot Air Balloons in the dark and take a test flight. There must have been over 30,000 people there. It was amazing having so many people there so early in the morning. Because of wind the main attraction which was the "mass ascension" where the balloons go up at once was delayed. The above pictures is from us standing around in the cold waiting/hoping that the event is not canceled.
It was cool seeing these massive hot air balloons and how they inflate them up. It would have been fun to fly in one of them.
