Think of and remember the unique service rendered by those brave Sikh men as well as women, who sacrificed their heads but did not surrender their Sikh Religion; Who got themselves cut to pieces from each of the joints of the body; Who got their scalps removed; Who were tied and rotated on the wheels and broken into pieces; Who were cut by saws; Who were flayed alive; Who sacrificed themselves to upkeep the dignity of the Gurdwaras; Who did not abandon their Sikh faith; Who kept their Sikh Religion and saved their long hair till their last breath; Utter Wahe Guru (Wondrous God)!

    Wahe Guru!!
    Wahe Guru!!

I think this video is flawed. It fails to show the role the Hindu Hill rajas played in this event. They were probably as guilty as anyone in trying to overthrow the Guru. They tried to get rid of the Guru by force but when their armies were defeated in battle by the Guru they then resorted to courting the Moghuls warning them how powerful the Guru had become and if allowed to continue like this he would become a direct threat to them

This video leads you to believe that the Moghuls were the only ones whoe were plotting against Guru Sahib

  8. This video is practically short and informative enough to have my dad who isnt a Sikh watch it. He learned enough to look at Sikhs and muslims and hindus in a totally new way.He actually sat and took 20 min. of his time, which is a huge step for him I think. It would take way too much time to go into detail about everything and would be a 5 day movie just on the battle of Chamkaur. SatNam Waheguru Ji ka Khalsa Waheguru Ji ki fateh!

  9. A magnificient video of the history of Sikh…Thank you.

That’s a great video, but it is incomplete. The Bibis’ reactions were much stronger than htat. As I recall my mother told me, she scolded the Guru, asking him why he was taking the death of all four of his sons so easily. That was when he replied, that all the Sikhs are his sons.

BTW, your archive link doesn’t work, neither do the MPA links. :P
