Narayan’s Soccer / Football Team

For the past month we have been having a hard time trying to get Narayan to play soccer. He is normally at school the whole day and is tired by the end of the day when I pick him up.

Lately Narayan has been into chewing gum so I tried a different tactic today. I offered to give him some bubble gum if be played soccer today. It worked! His team had a game with some other kids and it was GREAT! I had so much fun screaming for him and the other kids to kick the ball.

With kids his age playing, it is pretty much a mob of kids just kicking and running. It’s pretty wild and funny to watch. Most don’t really know what is going on. In any case we all had fun (and got some bubble gum too!).

  3. Gurumastak Singh Ji,

Will you send Narayan to Miri Piri academy? How is the study system there now? Do you still have an american accent or indian now? Teachers there are Indian or American?

  4. Gurumustuk Singh ji – very funny about how the kids move in a group – we used to call it “amoeba-ball” when my two were little and playing soccer – as in, they all move together, like a giant amoeba ;-)

  5. When Narayan is ready…I plan to send him to school at Miri Piri Academy.

I have an American Accent..though can have an Indian one too…if you like :)

Teachers at MPA are mixed. There are local teachers from Punjab and some from USA.

The best university in New Mexico is the University of New Mexico. I studied computer science there. According to various rankings (which don’t really mean anything in relation to the individual’s education in college) UNM has one of the best computer science programs. I can tell you it is tough, real tough. Most people do not make it through. It’s a big university with many people interested in computer science. I was part of a graduating class of 6, including me and my brother.
